Maria Imaginário is a multi-disciplinary artist who has shown her work at art fairs and galleries all over the world.
Maria is very curious and restless by nature which drives her to work with a wide range of media.
During her journey, she developed a deeply personal body of work based on her emotions and (self-) doubts. Her work is full of color, depth, and humor, and she tries to convey emotional messages brimming with meaning. Color is also very important for Maria, and she uses it to instigate different emotional responses.
Maria’s interventions and installations are an invitation to embrace joy, to celebrate and pierce the mundane and everyday life, and to bring everyone together by making art that interacts with people and creates positive memories that will last.
